The role involves supporting analytics across numerous functional areas such as finance, manufacturing, product development, and commercial. Ensuring high-quality deliverables, driving synergies, fostering innovation, and achieving speed, scale, and shareability in our planning processes are key objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain effective relationships with end stakeholders within the allocated GBU.
- Lead and develop SGH operations associates and leverage new technologies.
- Initiate the contracting process and related documents within defined timelines.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders for project planning and budget maintenance.
Performance Indicators
- Feedback from end stakeholders on overall satisfaction (Weightage: 20%)
- Adherence to timeline, quality targets (Weightage: 50%)
- Feedback from stakeholders on satisfaction with deliverables (Weightage: 25%)
Key Tasks
- Refresh and improve reports and BI tools, creating dashboards for key insights.
- Develop deal tracking analytics and reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate with Digital to enhance data access and improve processes.
- Standardize and automate offerings, models, and processes.
- Monitor the external environment to stay updated on the latest research, clinical developments, and competitor landscape.
- Create and maintain integrated, analytics-ready datasets.
Required Performance and Process Capabilities
- Support project delivery in terms of coordination, quality, and standards.
- Ensure high scientific standards and compliance with procedures and risk controls.
- Utilize the latest tools and methodologies for regular and ad-hoc business analytics activities.
- Work cross-functionally to gather requirements, analyze data, and generate insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholder teams to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
About You
Experience
- 2+ years of experience as a data expert/SME or data engineer in the Pharma domain.
- Expertise in databases such as IQVIA, APLD, Engagement, and execution data.
- Experience leading people, recruiting, and managing project activities.
Soft Skills
- Strong learning agility and ability to adapt to business needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player with strong presentation skills, capable of thinking strategically.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages (SQL, SAS, Python, R, VBA).
- Experience with analytical platforms and tools (Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet).
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical and commercial data sources and CRM systems.
Education
- Advanced degree in Management, Statistics, Decision Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Analytics, or related fields (e.g., PhD, MBA, Masters).
Languages
- Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
