Function Overview

The Chief Data Office is the Group Central Data and Analytics arm that collaborates closely with Group Businesses and Group Corporate functions. Our mission is to enable the execution of Nomura Group Strategy through robust data standards & governance, actionable performance metrics & MIS, and high-impact information and analytics products and solutions.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a Solution Engineer Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy machine learning (ML) solutions (including LLM model implementation) on both cloud and non-cloud technologies. The goal is to address business needs, optimize processes, and reduce manual work. The candidate should be highly analytical with a strong background in analysis, mathematics, and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ML-based solutions.
• Define, design, and develop solutions using Python programming to ingest data onto Snowflake.
• Collaborate effectively across different groups and regions.
• Be self-driven and highly motivated.

Qualifications & Core Skills

• 2+ years of proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing ML solutions.
• Experience in vectorization.
• Experience in RAG-based implementation.
• Proficiency in Python and other analytic languages.
• Strong analytical skills with an engineering mindset.
• Experience in ML Flow integration.
• B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech degree.
• Problem-solving aptitude and a strong appetite for innovation and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
