Job Opportunity: Analyst Data Scientist
Location: 1812 N Moore St, Arlington, VA 22209
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Test and implement advanced analytics methods to derive insights for business growth.
- Execute AI solutions to meet business needs.
- Drive Enterprise Analytics (EA) priorities through the piloting and scaling of next-gen technologies.
- Incorporate the latest data science techniques into product solutions and models.
- Build data, analytical, and automation capabilities to provide cross-functional insights for better decision-making.
- Apply sophisticated algorithms to drive enterprise-wide profitable growth.
- Collaborate with Senior Directors to generate and implement innovative, cross-functional solutions.
- Work with EA's Analytics and Insights teams to deliver analytical acumen across multiple projects.
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to identify patterns and build machine learning models that solve critical business problems.
- Develop Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing models for complex data analysis.
- Evaluate and select AI technologies to achieve business goals.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, or related field plus two (2) years of relevant experience, OR
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, or related field with zero (0) years of relevant experience.
Required Experience:
- Proficient in R and Python programming languages for developing and applying advanced cognitive or machine learning algorithms.
- Experience in developing and deploying advanced analytical models and algorithms.
- Experience in machine learning techniques such as Regression, Clustering, Probability Networks, AI, or Machine Learning.
- Experience presenting data for partners using PowerBI and/or Tableau.
- Experience with relational database (RDBMS) programs such as Snowflake and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience developing recommendation engines (e.g., for sales, customer targeting, or supply chain engines).
- Experience in developing optimization models.
- Experience using agile methodologies and rapid prototyping.
