Position Overview: Senior Game Data Analyst

Gameloft is actively seeking a Senior Game Data Analyst to enhance our Data Team. Working under the supervision of the Global Director of Data Science and Analytics and collaborating closely with stakeholders, this role is critical for those who thrive in a dynamic environment.

The selected candidate will be instrumental in utilizing analytical skills to collect, clean, analyze, and automate the data-exploitation process, ensuring our games stay at the forefront of the industry. You'll also collaborate with an international team of data experts, contribute to the team’s skill enhancement, and lead efforts to drive continuous improvement in our gaming products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a bridge between business and technical teams through proactive communication.
  • Implementing and advocating a hypothesis-driven analytical framework across the business.
  • Overseeing game KPIs, conducting trend analyses, and applying A/B testing and statistical methods.
  • Leading a team of data professionals, mentoring them, and fostering a hypothesis-driven culture integrated with creative intuition.

Qualifications

Prospective candidates should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in quantitative analysis, preferably within the gaming industry.
  • An advanced degree in Math, Business Intelligence, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Exceptional SQL capabilities and experience handling complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in a scripting language like R or Python is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for video games.
