Role Overview

As an Analytics Engineer, your expertise will be crucial in maintaining high-quality, actionable data sets that empower our teams to make quick, impactful decisions. Utilizing tools like Stitch, Fivetran, Airflow, Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Hightouch, and Tableau, you will be pivotal in data transformation and ensuring the reliability of our data systems. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across various teams, helping integrate new data sources and improve existing systems for enhanced decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain production-quality data transformation code.
  • Conduct rigorous data tests to ensure the reliability and accuracy of our ELT pipelines.
  • Provide guidance on data modeling, SQL optimization, and software engineering best practices.
  • Design and enhance the architecture of our data warehouse.
  • Work closely with data engineers to introduce new tools and data sources.
  • Solve data issues and maintain the integrity of our analytics codebase.

What You Will Bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field.
  • Up to two years of experience in data analytics or engineering.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with modern programming languages like Python.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for efficiency and organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in data roles, whether in internships, previous jobs, or academic research.
  • Advanced technical or quantitative degree.
  • Experience with dbt and job scheduling platforms like Airflow.
  • Experience handling data from third-party SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, and others.
