Our Platform Engineering Team is a collaborative, multi-skilled team that includes SysOps, DevOps, DBA, and Data Engineer professionals working together to enable our product teams to design, build and scale their infrastructure, services, and Data Stack to support millions of hits per hour: high volumes = high challenges. Responsibilities:

  • Maintain existing tools and suggest new ones to properly manage data across the pipelines
  • Operate across the entire data product life cycle: design new tracking plans, create data models, / ELT pipelines.
  • Cooperate with Software engineers, Product owners, and other data members to understand the required data and make it available.
  • Conceptualize, create, and maintain dashboards and visualizations that inform both tactical and strategic decision-making, enabling self-service data exploration.
  • Work together with analysts to define data models for them to use, and modify our data models based on usage patterns
  • Work with stakeholders to gather feedback, educate on new data solutions, and promote a data culture within the company

Requirements

  • 2+ years in similar or related roles with a data-driven approach
  • Experience in the following areas:
  • Data engineering and analytics with basic knowledge in software development.
  • Good knowledge of AWS Data stack (Redshift, Kinesis, S3, Athena, Glue, EMR…) or similar in other cloud platforms. 
  • Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Qlikview, etc.
  • Experience in integrating and utilizing external API’s or third-party ELT tools.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Nifi / Airflow.
  • Data modeling skills.
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
  • Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Qlikview, etc.
  • Experience in working with Python or Golang to customize pipelines and perform business analysis.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills. Quality driven with attention to detail
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
