The Squarespace Analytics Enablement team is tasked with transforming raw data into well-structured, precise, and comprehensively documented datasets. These datasets are utilized by analytics and data science teams for analysis, exploration, and reporting purposes. The team also assists our partners in transitioning from legacy systems to a modern data stack, and in automating manual tasks to cut down their time expenditure. In your new role, you will be developing foundational data pipelines and self-service tools essential to the business efforts of Squarespace. This position reports to the Manager of the Engineering Team, Analytics Enablement, and provides opportunities for growth and to make an impact. Your responsibilities include: - Partnering with Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Engineers and decision makers on data solutions - Converting use cases, pain points and success criteria into technical requirements - Developing and refining data pipelines and self-service tooling to produce high-quality outcomes - Automating manual processes to improve efficiency across multiple data teams - Implementing data governance through documentation, observability and controls Requirements: - At least 2 years of full-time work experience in a technical data or analytics role - Expertise in SQL and a minimum of one Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tool (e.g., Looker/LookML, Tableau, Chartio) - Familiarity with Python and one or more tools for data storage and access (BigQuery, Postgres, Presto, Redshift), pipeline management and orchestration (Airflow, dbt) or version control (git) - Experience in designing data models, orchestrating ETL jobs and building visualizations to provide self-service datasets, metrics and insights - Prior experience in collaborating with business and engineering partners Benefits & Perks include: - A choice of medical plans with the option of 100% covered premiums - Health Savings Account with Squarespace funding - Fertility and adoption benefits - Supplemental Insurance plans - Subscription to the Headspace mindfulness app - Retirement benefits with employer match - Flexible paid time off - Up to 20 weeks of paid family leave - Equity plan for all employees - $100 per month remote Stipend - Access to supplemental insurance plans for additional coverage - Reimbursement for education - Employee donation match to community organizations - 6 Global Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) The cash compensation ranges from $110,500 to $178,250 USD. The base salary varies based on factors like relevant skills, experience, and location. Besides the cash compensation, all Squarespace employees also have the opportunity to receive equity in the company as part of their compensation package.
