What You’ll Do as an Analytics Engineer

You will be instrumental in harnessing and interpreting data to enhance our customers' security experience. As an Analytics Engineer, you'll dive deep into data analytics

alongside our experienced teams. Your work will influence both strategic decisions and operational practices, ensuring our customers' peace of mind.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of SimpliSafe's data repository.
• Employ ETL best practices to refine raw data for analytical purposes.
• Create and maintain Python and SQL processes for essential data curation.
• Collaborate with various departments to meet their data and analytics needs.
• Construct and upkeep Tableau dashboards to track vital business metrics and analytical insights.
• Champion improvements in data processes and infrastructure to enhance data quality and utility.

Success in this role is built on meticulous, innovative, and timely handling of data analytics that supports our company’s goals and meets our stakeholders' needs.

What We Look For

Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, up to four years of experience in data analytics, strong SQL skills, and proficiency in Tableau. We appreciate proactive problem solvers who are comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Preferred But Not Mandatory:

Experience in consumer products, subscription services, or familiarity with data query engines like Athena, PrestoDB, or Snowflake would be advantageous.
