About Your New Role

As an Analytics Engineer at Nordea, you will be instrumental in enabling personalized banking experiences by integrating various data sources to deliver seamless omnichannel customer journeys. Your expertise in data management, data analysis, and data engineering will help us target the right audience with the most relevant personalized messages at the optimal moment.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain robust data sets and models to ensure uniformity across teams.
• Write and optimize SQL data transformation scripts within our existing infrastructure to support analytical needs.
• Extract data from multiple databases and centralize it into a concise storage system.
• Work closely with Data Scientists and Business Analysts to document and maintain high-quality data standards.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of reporting tools and analysis applications such as PowerBI.
• Engage actively in digital sales team initiatives to expand our data-driven marketing strategies.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate for this position will:

• Have an academic degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Possess 2-3 years of experience in data-focused roles, whether as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst with strong technical expertise.
• Exhibit strong SQL capabilities and familiarity with programming languages such as Java.
• Demonstrate proficiency in English and ideally, Finnish.
• Be a proactive team player who enjoys pioneering new initiatives and continuous learning.

Experience with tools like Snowflake, Git, and Power BI, or data analysis techniques using Python & R will be beneficial.
