Senior Data Analyst, Sales

The Senior Data Analyst will collaborate with partners in the Analytics team, Sales Operations, and Strategy teams, along with other business segments. This position will interpret sales data to extract significant business insights. Duties will encompass a spectrum of strategic initiatives, from evaluating sales team productivity, assessing the efficacy of new sales positions, to streamlining territory management. The role demands a candidate with robust analytical and technical skills, comfortable working across various functional areas in a dynamic and demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as an analytical and technical aid to Sales stakeholder teams, assisting in deriving actionable insights from wide-ranging customer and product data
• Establish KPIs to help the business better comprehend trends and opportunities
• Create and maintain automated dashboards to enable stakeholders to fulfill their data and analytical requirements independently
• Compose and upkeep intricate queries for comprehensive analyses intended to boost operational performance
• Apply knowledge of statistics to conduct analyses, aiding partner teams in making quicker and more informed decisions
• Enhance team efficiency: pursue and implement new tools/processes; identify and automate existing labor-intensive manual processes

Education & Experience Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on analytics experience, ideally in a software company
• A Bachelor’s Degree with a quantitative focus (like Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, etc.)
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency with either Python or R
• Competence in querying, transforming, and analyzing raw data, formulating conclusions, and crafting actionable recommendations
• Experience designing automated dashboards for user self-service, ideally in Tableau
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus
• Understanding of applied statistics and experience with regression analysis
• Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate and prioritize with key stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
• Proficient at breaking down technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work independently
