The Full Stack Analytics & Insights Engineer will design, develop, and deliver reliable, scalable analytics & insights using DevOps methodologies and DA&I Microsoft PaaS platforms. This role involves designing and building DA&I solutions and services throughout the company. It sets our strategic direction in delivering business outcomes via actionable analytics and decision intelligence, thereby helping our businesses recognize value.
The Analytics Engineer is a multi-skilled engineer who helps to estimate work, accepts stories into delivery increments, and completes tasks to deliver the work. They should be proficient in Data modeling, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI, Databricks, Open source analytics tools or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designs, codes and tests new Analytics applications, including supporting applications and interfaces
- Supports cross-functional development activity in various Analytics and Connected Enterprise related projects, for internal and external customers
- Develops and tests infrastructure components in Cloud and Edge-level environments
- Proactively monitors industry trends and identifies opportunities to implement new technologies
- Manages the DevOps pipeline deployment model
- Enables automated testing procedures
- Implements software in all environments
- Leverages containerization models and collaborates with other engineers and architects to keep the architecture current
- Assists in support and enhancement of applications
- Writes high-quality, regulation-compliant code
- Collaborates with business systems analysts and product owners to define requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, management information systems, or a related field
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in systems development lifecycle
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and system/process documentation
- Experience with server-side architectures and containerization
- Knowledge of Data Modeling, designing Star Schema, or other models based on requirements
- Experience with DAX, M! (Power Query), SQL, Tabular models, or other domain-specific languages
- Experience with AAS, SSAS, Power BI, SSMS, Dataflow, SSIS, Data Factory, SharePoint
- Additional experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, flow, and Power Apps) is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities
- Proven ability to adapt to and assist colleagues through changing circumstances and support change management processes
- Positive attitude retention ability in challenging circumstances
