About The Role

We are in search of a highly proficient Analytics Engineer who excels at delving into data to discover valuable insights and thrives in a fast-paced, data-centric environment. In this role, you will have a crucial role in supporting decisions based on data by analyzing extensive and intricate datasets, generating actionable reports, and providing key stakeholders with valuable insights.

You Will:

  • Challenge the current standard and drive decision-making backed by data.

  • Carry out comprehensive analysis of data to identify trends, opportunities, and issues across all areas of our business.

  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports and analytics tools that monitor product performance, offer insights into key performance indicators, and support business decision-making.

  • Cooperate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business opportunities based on data-driven insights and recommend suitable metrics for performance measurement.

  • Develop and implement product testing strategies to influence product development decisions and shape business decisions based on insights and trends.

  • Manage the complete data lifecycle, including data collection, processing, and utilizing insights to make informed decisions.

  • Define and promote best practices in analytics instrumentation and experimentation.

You Have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, product management or a similar field.

  • Strong analytical abilities with experience in SQL, Python, and/or R.

  • Experience working with large and complicated datasets.

  • A hyper-analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail and a curiosity to explore data and find insights.

  • You are an extremely motivated, result-oriented, self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can deliver successful results with minimal guidance.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and analyze commercial opportunities.

  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to clearly present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

It would be even more beneficial if you have:

  • Some experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is an advantage.

  • Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark is an advantage.

We offer a competitive base salary with the UK range of 70,000 - 120,000 GBP, along with a similarly competitive range in other locations. Salary is commensurate with experience, generous early-stage equity package, and benefits including medical/dental/vision.
