We are currently seeking an Analytics Engineer for our Lisbon office. This role is pivotal to our business's scalability and product development via reporting, data interpretation, and suggestions, offering essential insights for decision-making.
You'll be in collaboration with diversified teams and stakeholders at Bounce. Your duties will include diving into our data stack, creating compelling dashboards, conducting thorough analysis, and expanding our data workflows. Additionally, you'll crunch numbers on Bounce's financials, identifying key trends and guiding our roadmap.
We seek an individual with extensive expertise in data analytics, visualization, and forecasting - your input will be critical to Bounce's success and rapid expansion. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoying accountability for results from inception to completion.
In this role, your responsibilities will include closely working with the data engineering, product development, and business stakeholders, understanding their data needs, decoding their language and generating resourceful insights that foster a data-driven culture. Your tasks will also involve tracking operational metrics via data, creating striking dashboards that guide expansion strategies, and make forecasts with expertise.
As an Analytics Engineer, you will also identify gaps in our product analytics data and work with our exceptional engineering teams to enhance product data tracking and attribution. You will create strong testing and monitoring systems that ensure high data quality, and build documentations that promote data accessibility for all stakeholders. You will contribute to the evolution of our analytics pipelines, automate processes where possible, and promote data-driven decision making throughout the organization.
A successful candidate will possess a degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, operations research or engineering, or relevant work experience and have 5+ years of industry experience in a similar role. Requirements include advanced proficiency in SQL, experience with ETL/ELT tools, data visualization tools such as Amplitude, Metabase, Hex, or similar, and with CDP tools such as Segment or similar. You should also have knowledge of data warehousing concepts, big data technologies, and analytics platforms. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners.
