Job Responsibilities:

As an Applied AI ML Senior Associate, you will:

• Design and develop machine learning models that influence strategic decisions across the card business lifecycle including acquisition, account management, transaction authorization, and collections.
• Research, document, and implement AI/ML frameworks focusing on model explainability and fairness.
• Build and deploy sophisticated machine learning models using advanced techniques on big data platforms.
• Collaborate with senior management and partners across marketing, risk, technology, and more, to deliver innovative modeling solutions from inception to production.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Candidates should possess:

• A Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or Engineering.
• Proven experience in designing, building, and deploying production-grade machine learning models.
• A solid understanding of advanced machine learning algorithms, including but not limited to regressions, XGBoost, Deep Neural Networks (CNN and RNN), and clustering.
• Experience with big data technologies and proficiency in coding using Python, Tensorflow, Spark, or Scala.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Demonstrated expertise in Explainable AI and a strong understanding of model building on distributed Spark environments.
• Experience in the credit card industry with a robust business acumen.
• Track record of implementing models into production with a focus on stability, scalability, and efficiency.
