About The Role

As the pioneering Applied ML Engineering Manager for Kensho in India, your initial focus will be to immerse yourself in our AI-driven capabilities. Your insights will guide a team dedicated to expanding and enhancing our innovative tools that drive significant value across S&P Global. You'll play a crucial role in managing the team’s progress, fostering engagement, and accelerating development to maintain a robust output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a full-stack engineering team to advance and maintain Kensho’s AI Toolkit.
• Develop scalable modeling codes optimized for large data volumes.
• Address complex modeling challenges with creative solutions.
• Enhance team collaboration with product leaders and key stakeholders to align with our strategic vision.
• Drive the growth and development of your team on both professional and technical fronts.
• Collaborate with talent acquisition to expand your team effectively.

Who You Are:

You are deeply invested in your professional journey with over 9 years of experience in applied machine learning and at least 2 years in a managerial role. You thrive in mentoring teams and crafting innovative solutions. Your expertise spans from conceptualizing to deploying machine learning applications, and your approach to problem-solving is both strategic and innovative.

• Machine Learning Tools: SKLearn, XGBoost, LightGBM
• Deep Learning Frameworks: PyTorch, HuggingFace Transformers, and more
• Deployment Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
