The Opportunity: Applied Research Scientist Intern

As an intern with TR Labs, you'll join a global, interdisciplinary team of experts committed to driving digital transformation. Your work will involve:

  • Experimenting and Developing: Contribute across the full model development lifecycle, applying best practices for reproducible research.

Your Background and Skills

You are an ideal candidate for this role if you are:

  • A current PhD or Master’s student in a relevant field, possibly with 1-2 years of industry experience.
  • Experienced in building applications using NLP, LLM, or ML models in academic or industry setups.
  • Proficient in Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Skilled in research, organization, and problem-solving.
  • Capable of working independently with strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years in academic or industry roles, focusing on LLM, IR, or NLP systems, with a proven track record of applying research to practical applications.
  • Holder of publications in significant research venues such as ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, or similar.
