The team at the Generative AI Innovation Center at AWS offers opportunities to innovate within a dynamic organization that contributes to groundbreaking projects and technologies using advanced generative AI algorithms. As an Applied Scientist, you will collaborate with technology and business teams to develop solutions that astound and please our customers. We are in search of Applied Scientists skilled in employing generative AI and other ML techniques to devise, propagate, and establish cutting-edge solutions for previously unsolvable issues. Key job responsibilities - Work with scientists and engineers to research, design, and develop state-of-the-art generative AI algorithms to tackle real-world challenges. - Collaborate across customer engagement to comprehend which adoption patterns for generative AI are effective and quickly disseminate them across teams and leadership. - Engage directly with customers to understand the business problem, assist them in implementing generative AI solutions, present briefing and deep dive sessions to customers and guide customers on adoption patterns and pathways for generative AI. - Develop and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog posts, sample code, and presentations tailored to technical, business, and executive stakeholders. - Provide customer and market feedback to Product and Engineering teams to help guide product direction. About the team You will be part of a diverse team consisting of Architects, ML Scientists, and Strategists that assists and guides AWS customers across Asia Pacific, Japan, China, and India on their path to adopting generative AI. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of the following locations: Bangalore, KA, IND | Mumbai, MH, IND Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in building models for business applications. - PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of experience in CS, CE, ML or a related field. - Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals. - Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or a similar language. Preferred Qualifications - Experience using Unix/Linux. - Professional software development experience.
