Position Summary

The selected candidate will join a team that excels in leveraging artificial intelligence in the realm of drug discovery, focusing on developing and implementing novel AI models and bioinformatics tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced AI models, utilizing frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX.
  • Utilize and enhance bioinformatics tools such as Bioconductor and Biopython.
  • Collaborate across teams to scale and operationalize new machine learning models.
  • Explore innovative applications of tools like AlphaFold and MolBert in drug discovery.

Desired Skills and Expertise:

  • Proficient in Python, R, and key AI development frameworks.
  • Experience with bioinformatics pipeline development.
  • Deep understanding of biological and chemical data formats and standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of motivation.

Position Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, or a related field, complemented by postdoctoral or similar experience. A track record of at least 3-5 years in relevant research settings is required.
