Grant Thornton's Forensic and Investigation Services (FIS) offers a range of services to large corporations, law firms, regulators, law enforcement agencies, and governments. Our work primarily falls into the categories of investigations, disputes, digital forensics, corporate intelligence, financial crime, competition services, and monitoring.
Forensic Data Analytics (FDA), a service line within FIS, closely collaborates with the broader team and leverages innovative technology and strategies to deliver bespoke solutions to our clients. We collect and utilize structured data to prevent, detect, monitor or investigate misconduct, fraud, and non-compliance. Reviewing large volumes of data to identify significant facts is our specialty.

Role Overview:
You will work closely with your teammates to develop the FDA service internally and externally, building systems and dashboards to reinforce existing services and FDA-led propositions. Our engagements typically involve processing large datasets from diverse sources to aid the various service lines within FIS such as investigations, disputes, financial crime, and proactive risk detection.
We are seeking a candidate with data science background and a genuine interest in forensics. While reviewing data, you will aim to find answers to our clients' questions and bring creativity to the analysis and interpretation of data. You will possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, be focused on self-growth and support your colleagues.

How You'll Know You're A Good Fit:
Joining us as a Forensic Data Analytics/Science Assistant, the minimum qualifications you'll need include robust academic grades with a stellar degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) and work experience in data analytics in a consulting environment such as a Big 4 firm, boutique, or risk management entity working under time pressure and deadlines. It would be a plus if you possess some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't meet every requirement, we'll help you grow along the way.
