About the Team

As a part of the Jabodetabek Territory Team focusing on Transport businesses including 2W and 4W rides, you will oversee GrabBike and GrabCar operations within the Jabodetabek area. Your primary responsibility will be to meet the revenue and profit targets for each business unit. You will closely collaborate with the Supply Management team, which engages with our driver partners, and the City Operations Team, consisting of on-ground teams executing various projects.

Role Overview

You will assist the Transport Operations Manager to ensure smooth operations of the GrabCar and GrabBike businesses in the Jabodetabek area. Familiarity with key operational metrics and the use of company tools and dashboards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Extract and analyze data daily, utilizing both internal and external data sources when available.
• Analyze data from customer behavior, use cases, and patterns that offer business insights.
• Evaluate driver partners’ working behavior and financial aspects such as unit economics for each booking.
• Monitor key operational metrics, generate insights, and recommend improvements.
• Identify and resolve on-ground issues, providing actionable solutions.
• Troubleshoot operational issues including cancellations and allocations.

Key Differentiators

• Advanced skills in data crunching tools such as SQL, Python, and R.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering from a top-tier university (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering).
• Advanced proficiency in tools such as SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant work experience as a data scientist/analyst or in a similar role.
• Experience in business growth/strategy and/or tech consulting is an advantage.
