At Control Risks, a premier global risk consultancy, we're currently searching for an Associate Director to lead our Dispute Support practice in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This unique opportunity is designed to fill a maternity cover on a 12-month fixed term contract, providing an excellent leadership role within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management and Business Development

You will drive the growth of our practice by managing and expanding client relationships, focusing on securing high-value, repeat engagements primarily from law firms, in-house legal teams, and litigation funders. Represent Control Risks at key dispute-related events and collaborate on global business initiatives to enhance our market presence.

Strategic Role in Dispute Support

Your expertise will be crucial in shaping our dispute support strategy, ensuring the seamless delivery of complex litigation and support projects across the EMEA region. You will lead our project teams and innovate our research and investigative processes.

Case Management

Oversee multi-jurisdictional projects, focusing on asset tracing and investigative support for litigation and arbitration. Maintain high quality and relevance in our deliverables, enhance our source and subcontractor networks, and align with all compliance and legal standards.

Team Leadership

As a leader, you will foster an inclusive, collaborative culture within your team, mentor team members, and ensure continuous improvement in our practices. Your role involves managing risks, offering training, and upholding our firm’s ethical standards.

Role Requirements:

Prospective candidates should have a demonstrable track record in a leadership role within disputes and investigations, possess strong capabilities in managing complex services, and exhibit a profound understanding of legal, compliance, and ethical issues in our industry.
