Job Summary:

We are on the lookout for a talented and passionate Associate Director of Data Engineering to enhance our team in Sacramento. This pivotal role involves leading our Data Development sector, providing expert management and innovative solutions that drive our data strategies forward.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Associate Director of Data Engineering, you will:

• Direct the end-to-end development of data architectures to support robust data sets.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments to establish analytic requirements and data environments.
• Manage, mentor, and expand your team, ensuring high-quality data collection, modeling, and visualization.
• Stay at the forefront of technology, adapting and evolving our tech stack to meet industry standards and beyond.

What We’re Looking For:

Ideal candidates will bring:

• 6-8 years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role within Data & Analytics.
• Extensive knowledge of data pipeline construction, data warehousing, and BI tool optimization.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and either Scala or Java.
• A strong entrepreneurial spirit, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What You'll Get:

At The Shipyard, we offer a competitive salary range of $137,000 - $158,000, based on experience and location, along with:
