Job Overview
The Enterprise Intelligent Automations Program seeks a dedicated manager for a Data Analyst role. The ideal candidate is a seasoned technology professional passionate about data quality, data integration, and data analytics. You'll leverage and expand existing frameworks to drive insights across our automations program and enhance data literacy and data science skills, including machine learning.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand program metrics reporting, including model development for forecasting and value prediction.
- Collaborate with product managers and value, delivery, and operations teams to deliver data products that drive effective decision-making.
- Manage data governance across program platforms and tools to improve dataset service and usability.
- Engage in advanced analytics and data engineering for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Expand service offerings with data feeds and analytics for internal customers.
- Partner with the automations team on RPA and BPM opportunities to support data integration, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
- Support statistical problem-solving and model development.
- Utilize current technological advances in innovative ways.
- Participate in broader digital projects to assess impact and drive necessary activities, such as system integrations and data center consolidations.
- Act as a role model for all RTX sponsored initiatives (e.g., health safety and CORE).
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment and across multiple lines of business and functions.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and 4 years of experience.
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.
- Proficient in visualization tools like Qlik and Tableau.
- Significant experience with SQL or SQL-like languages.
- Familiarity with project management tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in common data science languages such as Python and R.
- Experience with Machine Learning tools like Databricks, Dataiku, and Alteryx.
- Proficiency in .NET & SQL.
- Experience with version control and agile development practices, using tools like GitHub and Jira.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to solve critical problems efficiently.
