Job Description:

The AWS Senior Developer will be a pivotal member of our Data Engineering team, dedicated to creating sophisticated data pipelines and structures using the latest in cloud data technology, engineering processes, and programming languages. This role involves direct collaboration with offshore managers and onsite business analysts to understand project requirements and deliver comprehensive cloud data engineering solutions, including Enterprise Data Lakes and Data Hubs within AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end cloud data engineering solutions.
• Work closely with team members to migrate and modernize data platforms for analytics and machine learning initiatives.
• Develop strategies for continuous integration and deployment, managing the full lifecycle of code deployments.
• Engage with DevOps tools and processes, ensuring optimal integration and automation across the project pipeline.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 4-8 years of hands-on experience in implementing AWS cloud services (VPC, EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, IAM, etc.).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting or coding skills in Python and Unix bash scripting.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub.
• Understanding of AWS security practices and key management.
• Ability to propose innovative solutions and lead the strategy for build and release management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Big Data technologies like Spark or Hadoop and ML toolkits such as Mahout or SparkML.
• Prior experience in Cloud services like Azure in addition to AWS.
• AWS-related certifications are highly regarded.

Professional Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field (BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc / M.E / M.Tech / MBA).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel as per business needs.

Additional Information:

This full-time position is based in Bangalore, India and may require travel to client sites based on project requirements. Please note that this role does not support work visa sponsorship and does not require government clearance.
