The Role

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will bring:

• 14 - 18 years of industry experience.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) certifications—AWS Certified Data Engineer highly preferred.
• Proven capability in designing and developing data pipelines and managing large-scale data processing using AWS tools such as EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, and others.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java, along with a strong understanding of Big Data technologies like PySpark/Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka.
• Expertise in SQL, data warehousing, and optimizing big data pipelines on AWS.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development frameworks.
• Exceptional communication skills and a proven record of influencing business and IT teams.
