Role Overview

As a Backend Software Engineer within our Data & AI division, you will:

• Design and develop robust backend systems and APIs to integrate AI technologies.
• Work closely with Product and Data Science teams to turn ideas into reliable tech solutions.
• Implement and manage data pipelines and storage systems for AI training and inference.
• Optimize system performance to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Champion code quality, conducting thorough reviews and testing.
• Stay ahead of tech trends in AI and backend development, contributing to our strategic goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across a high-performance tech team.

What You'll Need

You are the ideal candidate if you have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development focusing on server-side and RESTful API development.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby or a willingness to learn if you're skilled in other OOP languages.
• A solid grasp of AI/ML concepts and experience with software engineering standards and Agile practices.
• Exceptional teamwork skills and a zeal for continuous learning and improvement.
• Fluency in English, as you'll collaborate with international teammates.

Experience with Python, ReactJS, AWS, or leading engineering teams is a plus.
