Job Description

We at AA manage the worldwide Automotive Aftermarket business within Bosch. Operating in over 150 countries, our team of 13,000 employees deliver to customers in trade and workshops automobile and commercial vehicle spare parts, advanced diagnostic and workshop technology, & software for diagnosis and service training. Furthermore, the Automotive Aftermarket oversees the "Bosch Service" workshop concepts, one of the largest independent workshop chains globally.

The Bosch Automotive Aftermarket division has made Karlsruhe its head office for over 40 years.

  • You will form part of a dynamic team providing Business Intelligence solutions to expedite data-driven business across a variety of projects and reporting domains.
  • Moreover, you'll focus on our reporting processes, data strategies, data architecture, and design principles. You will also automate, prepare management reports for the Board and Business Units.
  • You will form part of an international and cross-functional team, developing customer-centric digital and scalable worldwide solutions concentrating on data.
  • Furthermore, your goal will be to understand and analyze data in conjunction with business needs to generate business value. You view the creation of something new as an opportunity for learning and improvement.
  • Additionally, you are expected to implement dependable digital worldwide data services to improve AA’s effectiveness in an expanding digital business context. Your strong communication skills will be invaluable when liaising with our internal clients.
  • Last but not least, you will prepare dashboards with an easy-to-understand narrative using Power BI. You can convey your message effectively to varied audiences, including the Board of Management.

Qualifications

  • Education: completed university studies (master's degree/diploma/PhD) in information technology, economics or a related field with a business background
  • Experience and Knowledge: For you, Python, SQL, and Power BI are more than just buzzwords. You have experience in data analysis, data architecture, designing, and automating data reporting, either from your academic studies or professional experience. Cross-functional understanding (controlling, production, logistics, and marketing) is an added advantage.
  • Personality and Working Practice: You have an entrepreneurial spirit and work in a structured and self-organized manner. You are open-minded and culturally adaptable, agile, analytical, proactive, results- and solution-oriented. You have strong communication and presentation skills, and can shape clear and compelling arguments and narratives, focusing on solution and execution.
  • Enthusiasm: You are passionate about innovations in digital topics and have a keen interest in understanding our customers (Bosch business units and governance departments), their demands and opportunities.
  • Languages: You have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and German.
