The Data Analyst will collaborate directly with our clients to determine, construct, and manage reports and data visualizations. Candidates should possess scripting abilities in programming languages like SQL and Python, as you will be tasked with writing queries and other data transformation scripts. Prior experience working directly with end-users is also required. This role is crucial to our clients, as the data and analyses you provide will guide our client’s business strategy for the future.

Job Type: Full-time, Exempt

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Writing SQL scripts and queries to extract and visualize client data
• Directly interacting with customers to understand their data and visualization needs
• Developing complex progress reports using SQL, PowerBi, Microsoft Office and other necessary utilities or languages
• Using Metabase to develop client-facing reports, visualizations, and dashboards
• Creating views and other methods for easier client reporting
• Performing both structured and ad hoc data analyses
• Creating high-quality reports
• Proactive identification of data issues and alerting the relevant stakeholders
• Utilizing modeling techniques and tools to analyze and specify the data structure in large and/or complicated data sets
• Implementing data management best practices to maintain data integrity, improve data processes, and provide analyzed or analyzable data to various internal and external clients.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Education, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, Economics or a related field

Required Skills and Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
• Experience in data analysis, warehousing, and reporting (3-5 years preferred)
• Proficiency in SQL and other data analytics related programming languages
• Outstanding analytical and conceptual thinking abilities
• Advanced technical skills
• Exceptional documentation abilities

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with Metabase or a similar business intelligence tool
