The Business Data Analyst reports to the Sales & Operations Planning & Data Manager and acts as Business Partner for Sales in the Industrial Merchants Business Line within Air Liquide. The Microsoft Power BI Sales module was launched for all users in 2020 and is still under development from the European Leadership. As a Business Data Analyst, you'll be the main point of contact for the sales and customer service organization, preparing and analyzing relevant reports and organizing training to support the Sales population. How will your contributions and growth be achieved? As a Business Data Analyst, you will be responsible for: Sales Module (Wave) Development: - Responsible for the Sales Module within the Benelux region and point of contact for the European Data Management team. - Consolidation of sales figures from entities recently acquired by Air Liquide Benelux. - Consolidation of data from sales & internal supply to measure the Energy Balance. Commercial Team Training: - Training Sales Representatives & Customer Service employees on how to use Microsoft Power B.I. - Providing continuous support through Sales Module Clinics. - Working in tandem with the commercial excellence manager. Analysis: - Supporting the construction of the commercial team's scorecard. - Assisting with the pricing campaign. - Creating ad hoc local reports & Dashboard to support business needs. Do you have the right skills? Hard Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Excel is a must. - Python Coding skills/Google Sheets are preferable. - Knowledge of SAP is beneficial. - Languages: English (French or Dutch is a plus). Personality and Profile: - Advanced analytical skills (data-driven) to understand the story behind figures. - Critical thinking to challenge the figures. - Good communication and teaching skills to train and lead a diverse and non-data native community. - Team player. - Independent.
