Kroll, the global leader in risk and transparency solutions, is searching for a seasoned Business Data Analyst II to enhance the capabilities of our Production Operations team within the Support Ops division. This role is integral in supporting the day-to-day operations of our legal services and driving our continuous success and leadership in the market.

Key Responsibilities

The Data Analyst II will:

• Provide mentorship and lead business efforts for various client data needs, driving them to completion.
• Serve as a resource for executing ad-hoc data requests, custom reports, test scenarios, data migration, data analysis, and quality assurance testing in a production environment.
• Transform legacy reporting into dynamic, robust self-service reporting systems.
• Translate the business needs to design and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization.
• Implement process improvements under the guidance of the department manager.
• Ensure appreciation and adherence to data quality management principles, including metadata, lineage, and business definitions.

What You'll Bring to the Role

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, coupled with at least 7 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in data engineering fundamentals, including data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) across large data volumes.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, Power BI, and familiarity with Spark, Databricks, Azure, and AWS.
• Strong abilities in complex data analysis of large datasets and performance tuning of T-SQL queries.
• Advanced skills in Excel for data manipulation and data cleansing.
• Excellent communication skills, a client centric mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
