Role Overview: Business Data Analyst Intern

As a Business Data Analyst Intern, you'll join our Business Analytics team, a pivotal part of our organization. Reporting to the Lead Analyst, you will collaborate with Business Intelligence Engineers, Web Analysts, and Product and Engineering Teams. You will also interact regularly with key business stakeholders, including Marketing and Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of our Data Insights team, you'll support our mission to leverage data for informed decision-making:

  • Accelerate Business Growth: Use data and insights to drive business performance.
  • Transform into a Data-Driven Culture: Support the organization in its journey towards data-centricity.
  • Develop Actionable Data Assets: Create valuable data resources.

Primary Roles

  • Develop high-value analyses to understand customer behavior and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Help refine statistical methodologies and modeling techniques.
  • Act as the main point of contact for various business teams; each team member is responsible for specific data domains and serves as a key partner for business units like sales and marketing.

Expected Outcomes

  • Explore datasets to extract useful information and gain a 360° understanding of customer behavior.
  • Conduct strategic analyses to assist business teams in their decision-making processes.
  • Support Topic Leads with ad-hoc analysis and daily business monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Final year student at an Engineering or Business School.
  • Strong sensitivity towards data analysis and statistics.
  • Understanding of business team challenges, particularly in marketing and sales.
  • Proficient in SQL and familiar with Tableau (knowledge of Python is a plus).
  • Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
