We are on the hunt for a skilled Business Data Analyst to power our strategic decision-making processes both in the UK and for our expansion into the US. This critical role within our Retail Intelligence team supports Ometria's vision to transform retail marketing through data-driven insights.

Reporting to the VP of Innovation and Data Science, you will collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, Sales, and senior management to influence decisions and enhance customer experiences. Key Outcomes

  • Lead data analysis initiatives for Ometria’s Architect, promoting data-driven retail marketing strategies.
  • Support client-facing teams with data extraction and transformation to uphold Ometria's stature as a premier retail-focused CDXP.
  • Extract actionable insights for internal collaborations that influence product enhancement and client engagement.
  • Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to refine our data architecture to support advanced analysis capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Function as a subject matter expert on data within Ometria's platform, facilitating access and understanding for internal teams.
  • Translate complex client data requirements into actionable projects, delivering insights in commercially viable terms.
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders to provide ad hoc data support, ensuring comprehensive communication across all departments.
  • Utilize tools like Python, SQL, and spreadsheets to manage data effectively.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience as a business or data analyst, preferably in a dynamic setting.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis.
  • Degree in a quantitative field.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
