Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Industrial Engineering), or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Python for statistical and machine learning (ML) modeling.
• Experience in creating user-friendly dashboards using tools like Tableau to monitor ML tool outcomes.
• Competence in SQL and assembling training datasets for statistical models.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Expertise in time series forecasting, including ML-based multivariate and multi-series models.
• Knowledge of supply chain and business operations principles.
• Ability to drive business impact through statistical tools in a matrixed organization, encountering diverse business processes.

About the Job

As a Business Data Scientist, you will lead the solutioning of critical issues within supply chain and business operations. Your responsibilities include:

• Scoping projects with business stakeholders to identify problems solvable by data science methodologies.
• Analyzing and constructing extensive datasets by developing SQL scripts and ETL pipelines with both traditional and large-scale distributed data systems.
• Writing Python scripts to manage large data sets, perform feature engineering, and train, test, and track AI/ML models.
• Creating dashboards for effective reporting and monitoring of AI/ML model performance.
• Collaborating with system architects and application engineers to integrate production-ready models into existing systems.
• Visualizing and presenting model performance, and facilitating system integration and user adoption of solutions.

In this role, you will navigate through ambiguity and complex business processes, guiding projects from concept to impactful solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,000 to $158,000, including bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the role, level, and location. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by the work location and other factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter will provide specific salary range details during the hiring process.
