The Private Pricing Analytics and Insights team plays a vital role in enabling the AWS Private Pricing business to achieve the highest standards of excellence for WW Commercial Operations.

About the Role

This role, based in North America, focuses on Business Analytics and Business Intelligence related to Private Pricing Deals. It requires broad technical skills, strong business acumen, and a deep analytical background to provide performance reporting, actionable insights, and decision support.

As a member of this team, you will harness your skills to:

  • Understand business requirements and create performance metrics.
  • Conduct data analysis, provide insights, and recommend actions.
  • Build analytical models for hypothesis testing and create forecasting models.
  • Develop self-service dashboards and visualizations to help Private Pricing leaders and teams achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead executive discussions to share insights, challenge the status quo, and provide forward-looking recommendations to enable growth of Private Pricing.
  • Develop and manage business analytics and data models, and own the quantitative analysis of sales team, customers, deal team, partners, markets, and products/services performance.
  • Understand sales metrics and data structures to identify and resolve issues, and provide actionable intelligence or propose new metrics and tools.
  • Develop relationships and processes with sales, finance, sales operations, and other functional teams to address reporting issues.
  • Manage and develop analytical tools or reports for monthly business reviews, annual planning, and forecasting processes.
  • Create operational templates and processes to standardize reporting and metrics tracking.
  • Work with regional teams to deconstruct issues and develop solutions to meet financial and operational goals.
  • Generate ad-hoc and monthly operational analysis and reports, and provide actionable recommendations through data analysis.
  • Create mechanisms and business processes to simplify, standardize, and enable operational excellence.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
  • Experience using SQL for data extraction and scripting (Python) for data processing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS solutions like EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, and using databases in a business environment with large-scale datasets.
