About the Role

We are seeking a talented Business Intelligence Engineer to enhance our project-based internal Business Intelligence team. In this pivotal role, you will harness analytics to spearhead growth and streamline operations as WeWork transitions into its next developmental phase. You’ll tackle broad macro business challenges, collaborate intensively across functional teams, and take proactive ownership of projects that drive substantive value throughout our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and Develop Key Business Metrics: Partner with internal stakeholders to establish critical metrics tracking sales, membership, revenue, and operational initiatives. Contribute to KPI modeling and maintenance in collaboration with our central data team.
  • Enable Functional Analytics: Develop and manage the data models and logic underlying dashboards and reports, facilitating strategic decisions by our leadership.
  • Serve as a Cross-Functional Data SME: Act as a liaison between our data engineering team and core business functions like sales, finance, and operations to optimize data-driven decision-making.
  • Support Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy and reliability of essential KPIs, collaborating with data practitioners and stakeholders to maintain a consistent source-of-truth.

About You

If you are equipped with the following skills and experiences, we would love to hear from you:

  • 3+ years in an analytical role (e.g., Data Analyst, Data Science, Data Engineer, Consultant).
  • Proven ability in SQL and complex query writing.
  • Strong understanding of database and data structure fundamentals.
  • Experience in building/maintaining data models using modern data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Airflow, Git, DBT).
  • Scripting proficiency in languages like Python or R.
  • Competent at working independently with stakeholders across various functions.
  • An intuitive grasp of underlying business needs and the ability to navigate ambiguous situations.
  • A quantitative-oriented degree (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Engineering).
  • Preferred: Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker); familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, Hubspot); prior roles in Analytics Consulting or Growth Stage companies.

Compensation & Benefits

Offering a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 USD plus incentives based on role-specific performance plans (details provided post-employment).
