Data Analyst Position at EMW, Inc. – Braine L'Alleud, BE

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Braine L’Alleud, BE. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a NATO SECRET security clearance. The successful candidate will begin on 1 July 2024 and the contract will end on 31 December 2024.

Position Overview

As a Data Analyst at EMW, Inc., you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the accessibility, retrievability, and security of specified data sets. This role demands a proactive approach to assessing data integrity from various sources, including sensor measurements and ticketing systems, ensuring the availability, integrity, and searchability of information.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and maintain information handling procedures.
- Apply data analysis, modeling, and quality assurance techniques to maintain data structures.
- Provide advice on database design and data utilization.
- Design and generate reports to support decision-making processes.
- Develop and refine ETL processes and data models.
- Work with internal teams to troubleshoot and enhance report functionalities.
- Participate actively in data-driven projects and initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

- Active NATO SECRET security clearance.
- At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
- Proficiency in ETL processes and data warehouse design.
- Practical knowledge of SharePoint administration; programming in C#, Python, or R.
- Experienced in developing dashboards using Microsoft Power BI or similar tools.
- BMC ITSM/ITSM data expertise and ITIL v3 or higher certification.
- Familiarity with BMC Remedy Smart Reporting tool is advantageous.
