Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Science intern to join our team. In this internship, you will work on impactful, data-driven projects, gaining hands-on experience in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. Our ideal candidate is passionate about data and cutting-edge technologies, possesses a strong analytical mindset, and is eager to learn in a multicultural and collaborative environment.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Be part of our Data & Analytics team, responsible for designing, building, and deploying a world-class data platform for HP
• Support the organization in cultivating a data-driven culture by delivering high-quality data products and solutions
• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and processing large datasets from multiple sources
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and insights
• Contribute to the development and implementation of machine learning models, including training, testing, optimizing, and evaluating the model, using Python or similar languages
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solution recommendations
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data science and analytics

Your Profile

To qualify for this internship, you should be:

• Enrolled in University or graduating after January 2025
• Independent and positive with a strong willingness to learn
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experienced in Descriptive Statistics and Predictive Analytics
• Familiar with Data Science scripting (e.g., Python, R) and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS)
• Knowledgeable with data analysis libraries and tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
• Experienced with data visualization tools (e.g., ThoughtSpot, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn, etc.)
• Familiar with machine learning algorithms and statistical methods
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent in teamwork abilities
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybernetics, Informatics, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent
