Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As the Climate and Energy Data Manager, you will:
- Manage data collection, formatting, storage, cataloguing, and initial analysis of climate and energy data.
- Ensure data sources are readily available and accessible for the customer.
- Collaborate with analysts to determine resources needed to complete tasks.
- Develop and enhance data sources to meet customer needs.
- Provide regular progress updates to the customer, including presentations at team meetings.
Minimum Requirements
- US Citizen with TS/SCI ISSA clearance and Polygraph.
- Willingness to work at the Sponsor’s facility in the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA).
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Geography, Economics, Energy Studies, Climate Studies, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, etc.) or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 2 years of professional experience.
- Experience managing data, including collection, formatting, storage, cataloguing, and preliminary analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with economic, energy, and/or climate data sources from various sectors.
- Experience modeling economic, energy, and/or climate data.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data manipulation.
- Understanding of energy security and climate change issues.
- Ability to manage major modeling efforts and apply econometric solutions to intelligence analysis.
- Experience with geospatial analysis tools such as ArcGIS and QGIS, remote sensing, and imagery analysis.
- Skills in cartography and working with User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) designers.
- Python programming experience.
Compensation
Our salary ranges are market-driven to ensure competitiveness. Earnings potential, ranging from $96,000.00 to $160,000.00 annually, will be based on a candidate’s unique skill set, knowledge, and geographical location.
