Job Summary

As a Clinical Data Analyst, you will support the Quality Department by developing reports and dashboards to monitor program and clinical performance. Using your data analytics skills, you will transform data into actionable insights that drive improvements in clinical care and patient safety at Virtua.

Position Responsibilities

  • Perform analyses of clinical data to identify opportunities for improving patient care and safety.
  • Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI, QlikView, and Slicer Dicer to track trends.
  • Create queries and reports to support patient care and safety initiatives.
  • Build and manage databases effectively.
  • Communicate findings using compelling data visualizations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in data analytics to advance Virtua’s clinical data capabilities.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 2-5 years in a healthcare setting, with proficiency in data analysis, manipulation, and visualization tools (SQL, Excel, Access, QlikView, Python, R, SAS, Power BI).

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in data science, data analytics, biostatistics, or public health (Master’s Degree preferred).

Certifications: Experience with SQL, Epic Reporting Workbench, Crystal Reports, Clarity database, Business Objects, and Slicer Dicer preferred.
