Truveta was created in the Pacific Northwest, but we have employees across the country. Our team enjoys the flexibility of a hybrid model and the ability to work from anywhere. Mandatory in-person attendance is necessary for two weeks during the year for Truveta Planning Weeks.

For maximum team productivity, we optimize meeting hours within the pacific time zone. We avoid scheduling recurring meetings that start after 3pm PT, but ad hoc meetings can occur between 8am-6pm Pacific time.

Experience

  • You are an expert on clinical applications and understand how data is organized to serve clinicians, researchers, and the patients they serve.
  • Understanding of health care industry terminology and concepts.
  • Practical experience with data profiling, analysis tools, techniques, and visualization technologies.
  • There is a deep passion in you for understanding data and how the business operates.
  • You are a self-starter able to engage closely with a sound technical team.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related analytical field.
  • 6+ years of experience, preferably at a health care system/software development company.
  • 3+ years of implementation experience with clinical applications like Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH, Allscripts is required.
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing large datasets, proficient in SQL, Python or R.
  • Experience in supporting customer engagement.
  • Hands-on experience translating clinical staff practices to informatics applications.
  • Understanding of healthcare terminology and concepts, data exchange standards (like HL7/FHIR, CCDA, etc.) clinical ontologies (like ICD, RxNorm, CPT, NDC, SNOMED, LOINC, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with modern cloud-native platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Data Bricks, Snowflake) is a plus.

  • The base salary for this position ranges from $124,000 to $156,000. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on various factors such as location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional compensation such as incentive pay and stock options.
