Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Data Management Associate II, you will be responsible for:

Database Management

  • Reviewing and evaluating clinical data from imaging portions of sponsor clinical trials
  • Ensuring clinical trial databases meet project requirements
  • Reviewing documentation and project requirements for new trials
  • Collaborating with project teams to validate data collection, cleaning, and transfers

Data Integrity and Consistency

  • Developing study data specifications, including transfer and validation requirements
  • Defining, running, and reviewing edit checks
  • Maintaining organized and up-to-date study documentation
  • Creating or reviewing Transmittal Forms in accordance with standards

Quality Control

  • Ensuring data quality control measures are implemented and maintained
  • Tracking and resolving data issues in collaboration with project teams
  • Reporting system bugs and enhancement needs to Product Managers

Team Collaboration

  • Working with internal staff to resolve issues and achieve project outcomes
  • Exploring new opportunities to add value to the organization
  • Participating in company-sponsored training to maintain industry knowledge

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 1 year's experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO industry
  • Proficiency in relational database management and validation
  • Familiarity with office productivity tools like Word, Excel, and Access
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and adjust to changing priorities

Working Conditions

  • Travel: 0-15%
  • Lifting: up to 25lbs
  • Prolonged periods of computer work
