Essential Role in GFCC's Global Financial Intelligence Unit (GFIU)

As a vital part of the Global Financial Intelligence Unit (GFIU), you will focus on the execution and delivery of strategic, project-oriented investigations aimed at identifying financial crime risks. This includes analyzing customer profiles, products, and services, and conducting high-profile reviews across various organizational branches. Your work as a Data Analyst will help in developing innovative analytical tools and techniques, ensuring robust mechanisms are in place to mitigate potential money laundering and terrorist financing risks.

Job Responsibilities

  • Enhance financial crimes intelligence by developing and implementing actionable data analytics.
  • Design and manage financial crime intelligence dashboards.
  • Initiate custom analytics projects by researching and integrating diverse data sources.
  • Collaborate across Corporate, Technology, and Business lines to uncover new intelligence opportunities, driving these initiatives to fruition.
  • Communicate analytical insights effectively to both GFIU investigators and management.
  • Advance internal data analytics capabilities and training to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven expertise in SQL, Oracle, or Teradata with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in using statistical analysis tools like SAS for large data sets (minimum 2 years).
  • Skilled in advanced dashboard development with tools such as QlikView or Tableau (2+ years).
  • Experience in workflow creation with Alteryx Designer, and familiarity with Link Analysis software, such as IBM i2 Analyst’s Notebook.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) practices and complex investigation processes.
  • Programming knowledge in Python or SAS, and experience with Quantexa (2+ years).
