Opportunity Alert: Computational Biology Leader

Bayer's dynamic team is looking for an experienced Computational Biology Leader to spearhead strategic initiatives in biomarker analysis and reverse translation for oncology clinical trials. This role is pivotal in driving forward our computational biology strategies and integrating multi-omics data to enhance our product development and portfolio. As a leader, you will craft team-based solutions and architect frameworks that significantly boost portfolio value by addressing complex challenges in innovative ways.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a Computational Biology Leader at Bayer, you will:

  • Evaluate molecular evidence and utilize multi-omics data to support therapeutic hypotheses in oncology.
  • Design and execute sophisticated quantitative analyses that meet precision drug development standards.
  • Provide computational biology insights to assist Product Teams in making informed stage-gate and portfolio prioritization decisions.
  • Promote interdisciplinary collaborations to implement system-wide solutions enhancing R&D portfolio value.

Who You Are:

  • A Bachelor's degree coupled with a strong background in statistical analysis and programming (e.g., R, Python).
  • Solid experience with peer-reviewed publications in computational biology.

  • Proficiency in English.
