Impactful Work You’ll be Doing:

As a critical part of our GCP team, you’ll be at the forefront as a Manufacturing Consultant, leveraging Google Cloud Platform to enhance manufacturing operations. Here’s what you will be involved in:

• Identify and target data-driven opportunities alongside manufacturing teams to improve processes and reduce costs.
• Design, develop, and manage data pipelines using Python and SQL, integrating data from diverse sources like sensors and production systems.
• Implement Kubernetes and Kafka to manage data flows and pipeline scalability efficiently.
• Employ GCP services such as BigQuery and Cloud Storage to manage and analyze manufacturing data effectively.
• Create and maintain testing scripts in Python or SQL to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Utilize Vertex AI and Vertex Gen AI for AI-enhanced optimizations and anomaly detection within manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to transform data insights into actionable manufacturing improvements.
• Regularly review and enhance the efficiency of data-driven solutions, keeping up-to-date with GCP technologies and manufacturing analytics trends.

Who You Are:

Our ideal candidate would bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of data analysis, Python and SQL, and familiarity with data warehousing principles.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and core services; Kafka and Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a drive to learn and innovate.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team.
