The role: We are currently seeking a remarkable Data Analyst to become a member of our expanding Data Team for a term of 6 months.
The mission: To facilitate effective data-informed decision making by unveiling the most pertinent insights from data via reporting, analysis, and optimization, focusing on establishing best-practice procedures and collaborating with teams to comprehend their requirements and hurdles.
The successful candidate will be situated within the Insight function, and we're seeking someone who is passionate about deriving value from data. Whether it's through hybrid modeling/analysis or closer to a traditional Data Analyst role, we have the capacity to adjust.
This position will answer to our Data Lead and find a place in our amazing Data Team.
What you'll do:
- You'll be reporting to the Data Lead, collaborating with teams regularly to monitor market trends, app user behavior and business performance to aid efficient operations and uncover new opportunities.
- Formulate hypotheses, assist in designing multivariate experiments and track results to continually refine our customer-facing proposition.
- Combine both qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights to steer actions, presenting to and involving the broader team as needed to emphasize outcomes.
- Construct dashboards using Looker and Amplitude to exhibit KPIs and crucial trends.
- Engage and tutor the broader team on how to best utilize available data sources, enabling them to self-serve over time.
- Design and launch qualitative user surveys/tests, interpreting results to assist business decisions.
- Collaborate with data engineers and ETL tools to construct the best pipelines, from source to end user.
- Contribute to our data community by sharing best practices and helping to form a world-class team.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of first-hand data analysis experience from a role as a Data/Growth Analyst, Data Scientist, Management Consultant or similar.
- Experience with using data visualization platforms, especially Looker and LookML.
- Extensive SQL experience.
- Knowledge of E2E (end-to-end) data pipelines.
- Ideally, some experience across subscription-based / mobile app-first / B2C / e-commerce businesses.
- Ideally, prior experience with analytics platforms such as Amplitude or Mixpanel.
- Proven experience translating data analytics into actionable insights and conveying these across multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive attitude, high energy level, and capability to work independently.
- Ideally, some Python experience to assist in maintaining the existing Data Science pipeline.
