Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of experience with cloud-native architecture in customer-facing or support roles.
  • 5+ years of experience in business requirements analysis and stakeholder management.
  • Proven track record with Big Data technologies and concepts including analytics, data warehousing, ETL, ELT, SQL, NoSQL, and performance optimizations.
  • Experienced in engaging and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese, essential for success in this customer-facing role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields.
  • 1+ year experience in customer-facing roles such as technology consultant or technical sales engineer.
  • Experience with natural language processing or related machine learning projects.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to navigate both internal and external organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspire customers and peers by solving challenging problems with novel solutions centered around data science platforms.
  • Work alongside sales teams to identify key business opportunities, tackle technical hurdles, and refine strategies to overcome these.
  • Recommend integration strategies for Generative AI applications with existing systems.
  • Educate and support Google's customers through product briefings, proof-of-concept projects, code samples, and coordinating solution implementations.
  • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other events as required.
