- At least 6 years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment.
- Proven experience engaging with both technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Fluent in English and Italian for effective communication in customer-facing roles.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience delivering technical presentations and demos.
- Familiarity with Developer Operations (DevOps) best practices, including CI/CD.
- Strong analytical skills to gather, debug, and resolve issues in live production systems.
- Advanced multitasking, prioritization, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
As a Customer Engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, you will join the ambitious Google Cloud Platform team. You will engage closely with technical sales teams, acting as a Machine Learning subject matter expert. Your role will focus on differentiating Google Cloud solutions to our customers by communicating technical features, aiding in architecture design, and addressing potential roadblocks. - Identify business opportunities and navigate through key technical challenges with customers.
- Provide deep machine learning expertise during customer interactions, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and solution advocacy.
- Demonstrate Google Cloud product integrations in various customer and partner environments.
- Recommend comprehensive integration strategies and enterprise architectures to implement effective solutions on Google Cloud.
- Travel to client sites, conferences, and other events as necessary.
