Permanent Full-Time Opportunity: Data Analyst
Join us at FreeX as a Data Analyst and contribute to our growing team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for aggregating data from multiple sources and converting it into insightful, actionable reports. Reporting to the Manager of Revenue Management, Data & Analytics, you will support the data management, analysis, and reporting needs of Freedom Experience (FreeX). Your expertise will provide FreeX teams with forecasts, key performance indicator (KPI) monitoring, financial modeling of emerging business opportunities, capacity planning, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst, you will:
- Transform large data sets into relevant, actionable reports that are easy to understand.
- Design and create visual reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze data to gain insights on past and future customer trends.
- Design and maintain staff resource models and forecasts.
- Maintain key performance metrics across all areas of FreeX.
- Participate in system implementation projects to ensure data and reporting requirements are met.
Performance Management
- Provide data analysis and management reporting, including executive summaries to support leadership decisions.
- Build, implement, and maintain data models.
- Support the development of business cases with cost/benefit analysis on opportunities impacting FreeX.
- Work with inconsistent, unclean, or non-fully modeled large datasets.
- Produce reliable and timely analyses and insights from diverse data sources to enable sound business decisions.
- Design and deliver ad hoc performance reports and analytics.
Project Leadership
- Lead projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary functions on system/tech dependencies.
- Assist with data mining and modeling activities.
- Support the organization’s mission to optimize the Connected Data Platform through strong partnerships and efficient system builds.
- Ensure single source of truth in data management practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced skills in Data Visualization tools such as Tableau or MS Power BI.
- University degree in Computer Science or Statistics preferred.
- Over 4 years of experience in data management and performance analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and SQL for complex data analysis.
- Proficiency in Databricks and the Connected Data Platform.
- Experience with Python is an asset.
- Experience in facilitating cooperation and working collaboratively with various teams.
- Innovative thinking with willingness to introduce new concepts.
- Strong drive for improving organizational performance and efficiency.
- Excellent data and business analysis skills with the ability to define KPIs and provide business logic and calculations.
- Highly developed analytical and critical thinking skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 and data analytics platforms.
Compensation
The base salary for this position is between $57,100 - $95,200 annually. This figure represents base salary only and does not include other variable compensation components such as annual bonuses or commissions. Your recruiter will provide additional details on our total rewards program during the recruitment process.
For students, compensation will vary depending on work terms completed and other factors related to your program.
