Job Description

Position: Data Analyst

Join our dynamic team at Alter Solutions Portugal to become a pivotal player in our agile work environment. This role requires you to:

• Engage actively within our agile framework, contributing effectively to our project cycles.
• Utilize Snowflake to probe data availability, discern the appropriate data sources and enhance our data models, while crafting necessary transformations using dbt.
• Assist our sales team in their decision-making by developing and presenting insightful visual reports and narratives within our front-end systems.
• Directly interface with both our internal team and sales partners to refine our vision and review sprint objectives, ensuring alignment and clarity across projects.

Qualifications

Required:

• Robust experience in database and data warehouse technologies, including a minimum of 2 years utilizing Snowflake and dbt.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing projects with Power BI.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with agile development methodologies, such as SCRUM.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Python/R programming.
• Experience in UX/UI design, with a touch of creativity and prior involvement in UI creation.
