We are currently looking for a Data Analyst (all genders) based in Berlin or working remotely. Your mission with us: Drive a data-driven culture through engaging stakeholders to understand business goals and ultimately generate impactful insight through creative, understandable and visually appealing deliverables, as well as impactful stakeholder interactions. Your tasks: - Partnering with B2C and B2B stakeholders to drive operations activity performance and business results through data analysis and business acumen - Driving a data-driven culture through engaging stakeholders to conceptualise and implement KPIs and performance metrics - Formulating strategic recommendations regarding the next steps and calculate business cases for different options and scenarios - Refining, challenging and supporting requests from stakeholders and creating new data analyses based on commonly defined specifications - Becoming a data owner, understanding the data lineage end-to-end. Advising on process improvements and work hands-on, if possible, to help automate reporting You bring to Lingoda: - 1-3 years experience as a BI/Data Analyst, experience working with operations teams is a plus - You have at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, e.g. information technology, data analytics, business, economics, education sciences, digital education or similar - You are skilled at spreadsheets - You are excellent in SQL, preferably PostgreSQL/Redshift - You know how to use Tableau and are creative with data visualisation - Knowing Python is not required but can be a bonus - Bonus if you have experience with DBT - Your knowledge of Github is nice to have - Big bonus if you have worked with operations reporting - Highly passionate about data, with creative problem-solving abilities and an eye for detail - You can work with heterogeneous data, triangulate multiple data sets and work in a hypothesis-driven manner You add to our culture with: - Your experience with agile methods and design thinking is a plus - You have an independent and rigorous working style - You are a team player and love to think outside the box - You have the ability to understand business challenges and stakeholders' needs - Good English communication skills.
